How do I get an estimate?
For the quickest and most accurate estimate, we recommend making an APPOINTMENT and bringing your vehicle in or simply call 949.859.8639. We also offer FREE estimates with PHOTOS taken with your smartphone.

Who pays the deductible?
That is determined by the insurance. Deductible is always collected when repairs are complete and you pick up the vehicle.

Does the insurance check come to me or the body shop?
It can come to either party depending on the timing.

Can I add additional repairs that are not related to the accident?
Of course. We will require an additional estimate but not problem.

Does your company do work for dealerships?
Yes, we do work for a number of local dealerships.

Where do I get a claim number?
Your insurance company will provide it.

If a vehicle has frame damage does it mean the vehicle is a total loss?
Not at all. It depends on the location and severity of the damage.

Can you match paint colors?
Our paint matching system uses the most advanced matching techniques to produce factory standard paint finishes.

Can I get a ride home?
Of course. We provide a courtesy shuttle.

How can I get a rental car?
We'll call the rental car company to come pick you up.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard or cash.

What if the repairs cost more than the cost of the estimate?
We will work with your insurance company to ensure all damage is repaired.

Do I have to take my car to the body shop the insurance company suggests?
Absolutely not. California state law guarantees the vehicle owner free choice in choosing a repair facility

Do I have to get 2 estimates?
Not unless you choose.

If my car is under warranty at the dealership, will repairs here be under warranty?
We are a certified repair facility for many makes of car and truck. Please see our list here.

Will parts be preordered?
Depending on the type of accident. Pre-ordering parts is valuable way to save time. Consult with our collision advisor to see your a good candidate for pre-ordering parts.

Will I receive a car wash?
Yes, every car we repair receives a complete wash. Complete details are a separate charge.

Can I wash my car after it's painted?
Yes, but we recommend not waxing you car for 30 days.

Do I need an appointment?
No, but we recommend one. Make an appointment here

Is this body shop green?
Fabricante Auto Body is an industry leader when it comes to using green technology in a body shop. For over a decade we recycle our waste, use dust extractors when sanding and incinerate any solids before they make their way down the drain or enter a landfill. We have always used environmentally friendly, solvent free, water based paint in our repairs.

A FAMILY BUSINESS SINCE 1984

In 1984, Bernie Gates' dream of opening a body shop became a reality when he and his wife Laurie opened Prestige Auto Collision in Mission Viejo. The shop consisted of 1 building on a sleepy street lined with shops servicing the car industry. They would see many businesses come and go. Prestige would weather many storms and continue to steadily grow. The business would expand, taking over the lot. Utilizing 4 buildings and over 40,000 sq. ft. of secured facilities. This would only be the beginning and the company would expand to include Prestige South and Fabricante. The business continues to employ many members of the family from grandparents to grandchildren.

  • I love these guys! They have performed great work on multiple cars in our family, including major front end damage on a 2011 Honda Odyssey. They made it look new again. Today, I brought the same van back for an estimate on multiple minor dings and scrapes on the front right bumper. I planned to pay cash and was expecting about $500 in damages. Instead the manager brought out some cleaning solutions and paint repair stuff. He did the work himself on the spot and left me with a bottle of paint matched touch up. It looks good, which is all I wanted. He wouldn't even accept a $20 to pay for his lunch. Of course they were willing to make it look perfect in the shop, but went over and above the call of duty, giving me a freebie of only what I needed.
